Q&A with North Hall's Jaret Bales

Meet Jaret Bales, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound pitcher/infielder/outfielder/catcher from North Hall High School who is uncommitted. Bales is a member of the North Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2022 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: No crossed bats.

 

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

 

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Steak.

 

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I'm actually good at singing.

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Warner because she treats us with respect. My favorite subject is British Literature.

 

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: Hunting and fishing.

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: I would love to travel to Hawaii because they have good fishing and I love the beach.

 

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: I would like to meet Donald Trump because I like the way he presents himself and how he conducts his business.

 

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My grandfather has been the most influential to me because he always teaches me something about life every time we speak.

 

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I am planning to pursue a career in business and become my own boss.
