Week 4 Prep Baseball Polls

As the regular season nears the halfway point this week, for the first time this season the top teams in all eight classifications stayed the same in this week's Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine baseball poll.

Unbeaten Grayson remained the top team in Class 7A. The Rams begin Region 4-7A play this week with a mammoth three-game set against No. 4 Parkview in a series that is sure to draw national interest.

East Coweta is ranked for the first time in Class 7A as well as Forsyth Central, who occupy the No. 8 and No. 9 spots in this week's Class 7A rankings.

In Class 6A, the positions are somewhat different but the top six teams -- Buford, Carrollton, Pope, Houston County, Winder-Barrow and Allatoona -- remain the same as they have since the start of the season. Meanwhile, South Paulding at 10-2 makes its season debut at No. 9.

In Class 5A, Decatur breaks into the Top 10 at No. 10 for the first time this season. Loganville remains at No. 1, while Blessed Trinity stays at No. 2 after taking two of three from Calhoun in a key three-game region series in Region 7-5A. Calhoun, previously at No. 4 dropped two spots. 

In Class 4A, the top seven teams remain the same. Undefeated Bainbridge makes its season debut at No. 10.

In Class 3A, Morgan County moves into the rankings at No. 10.

In Class 2A, after taking two games from previous No. 9 Dodge County in Region 3-2A play, Bleckley County moves back into the rankings at No. 9.

In Class 1A Public, Treutlen makes its debut at No. 10, while Kings Ridge Christian makes its debut at No. 10 in Class 1A Private.
