Q&A with West Laurens' Bradley Wilson

Meet Bradley Wilson, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound catcher/infielder/pitcher from West Laurens who has signed to play at Mississippi State. Wilson is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2021 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

 

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: When I am hitting, I remember which side of the bat I hit with. If I get on base, I hit on that side again.

 

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

 

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Steak.

 

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I have been to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip to play baseball and to help the people there that needed it to the most.

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: My favorite teacher is Coach Pollack. My favorite subject is science.

 

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: Football, hunting and fishing.

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: New Zealand to see wildlife and new culture.

 

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: Kobe Bryant to learn what his mentality towards the game was.

 

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My parents because they taught me everything.

 

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I would like to be a physician's assistant in a trauma center.
