Meet Noah Walters, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound pitcher/infielder from Crisp County who is unsigned. Walters is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2021 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.
Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have? A: I say a prayer after my in-between inning warm-ups.
Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team? A: Atlanta Braves.
Q: What is your favorite food to eat? A: Steak nachos.
Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? A: I have three bottom teeth instead of four.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject? A: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Navarro. My favorite subject is math.
Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? A: I love riding the boat on the lake.
Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why? A: Canada. I hear the people are very friendly.
Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most. A: Nolan Ryan. The guy was a dog on the mound.
Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life? A: My parents. They have always taught me what to do in tough situations.
Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue? A: I would like to be a sports broadcaster or a real estate agent.
